Overview
The Scandkom PRO-Strong WPC decking board was made to withstand heavy loads and impacts in all weather conditions. PRO-Strong is a full profile board that offers exceptional strength and durability. Pro-Strong is an ideal material for building decks, platforms, walkways and stairs, for example. It is also perfect for public places with more traffic, such as restaurant summer terraces or parks. The surface thickness of the Scandkom PRO-Strong composite board at its thinnest point is 10 mm, which means that it can also withstand hard impacts (a standard composite board has a surface thickness of only 4-6 mm).
Ventilating design for longevity
Unlike most decking boards, which are either a hollow or completely solid profile, the lower part of the PRO-Strong board has three air channels separated by thick partitions that act as support legs. These channels ensure a long service life for the terrace because they help to direct moisture away from the subframe.
Easy to install
What makes Pro-Strong terrace special compared to traditional wood-plastic composite boards is that while our boards can be installed with plastic and metal decking clips, thanks to the support legs, the boards can also be fixed with regular decking installation screws. This opens up the possibility of using wood composite decking in places where it has not been possible before due to the limitations caused by fasteners, such as boat docks and piers. Attach the deck board with screws by drilling holes through the front legs. When using screws, you can even use another PRO-Strong board as the subframe material to achieve a low profile decking solution.
