The ScanFen® 120 Pedestrian Gate 1000 is an ideal gate for your garden if you have no need for a wider entryway or want to have separate gates for vehicles and pedestrians. The distance between the strong 80x80mm posts is 1080mm, which includes the space for our 80mm galvanised steel hinges. This leaves exactly 1 metre of comfortable passing space when the gate is wide open. The hinge plates have been pre-mounted to the posts and painted to match the colour of your fence to blend the hinges in and give your gate a clean, beautiful look. The hinges are screw mounted, which makes them adjustable precisely according to the locks or latches you intend to use. Our pedestrian gates are made in a ready-to-install state with a horizontal support beam welded between the two 80mm fence posts below the ground.
